To clarify on the metal drive cups. The prices listed are per cup at the total quantity manufactured.

So if I / we get a batch of 25 made the price is 19.82 per cup. Total of 4 cups are needed for a car, so total would be 79.28, rounding up to 80.

If a batch of 50 are made, price per cup is 17.12, so 68.48 for 4.

The current lead time with this machine shop if 3 to 4 weeks if they are kicked off mid to late September.

I still need to get a few more dimensions and tolerance a few things on the drawing for the shop.

I am not looking to make money on this deal, just to drive the total cost down as again the large the quantity made the cheaper the cost. If you are serious about these, please PM with a good email you can be reached at to coordinate.

Mine did well-ish after an overnight soak-over in WD-40, but it IS short-lived-grip, before you lose it again

Read-Up! Mod-On! Crawl EXCESSIVELY!

This thread and the Facebook group has prompted me to order parts for my incoming Danchee RR. I am going to run a Futaba 4PLS along with dual 1080 esc's and upgraded servos to start with. Im sure I will upgrade the steering and lower links once the electronics are in and functional.

My first rc was a turbo hopper (dating myself) ...then a fastraxx (remember them?) ...then i had been on rc sabbatical for over a quarter century. My first rig then was the MN99s. The danchee is my current object of affection. I just want to do what I can to upgrade parts if possible, as much as possible. This thing is a blast to play with.

Future plans include making some wilderness FPV. I live in BC and theres lots of places to get footage. I'll be starting this pretty soon after my runcam arrives.

mods include thus far: steel frame links, paintjob, mudslinger tires (moddified), that stupid stock battery plug changed to a non stupid one.

In the mail right now (arriving sunday) are 2x 20kg servos, 2x 3s lipo batteries, runcam2 & transmitter & antenna (for FPV)

Is there any news regarding the weak links in the rig? It would be nice if there was a metal MOA with metal gears, so all you would need to do is port over the elctronics... but that's probably not gonna happen, i guess. How about a complete list of the weakest links like the hubs and cups and whatever else seems to go first... with upgraded alternative parts to use? is there anything like that? Even just a list of things that go wrong most so I can go ahead and stock up on replacements, lol.

Or is there a difference in suspension i have missed during pen spring mod?

I have been modifying my Ridgerock and had the same problem, I put longer shocks on it and mounted the bottom of the shock to the outside of the lower link mount location and it fixed the shock hitting issue.

Got bored with the stock Danchee, so I made a couple changes Swapped the body for a Hot Racing AX-10 body, changed out the servos for 25KG, the motors for Dynamite 37t's, dual 1080 escand 3d printed scx10ii skids for battery and esc receiver tray.
