Default Gen 8 axe

New to the hobby and clearly I have a lot to learn.
Which 3s battery is recommended to use? I bought a venom 3s 50c 5000mah and it is too long for the tray. I am considering grinding the back lip off the tray so that it fits.

Suggestions?

kinda sounds like you need a shorter battery if it dosent hit anything just run with it you could always mod the battery tray too but if you dont need too then dont not that it makes any differance ether way to the strangth just center of gravity might be slightly higher

I bought some Ovonics 3S 4500mah batteries and they fit great in my AXE Edition.
