Re: redcat axe Your gonna dig it |
Re: redcat axe it arrived yesterday but it was raining all day so i couldnt go out. i decided to go out today since i am on vacation (supposed to be in the city, but stuck at home on a cancelled trip) anywho, the truck is really nice. the tires are hard as a rock, but i have some new ones coming in any day. it was also muddy out, and i dont really like to drive my cars in the mud, but it ran great. its higher off the ground compared to my HPI venture, so i was able to clear some bigger rocks. i had already pushed in the bumpers, but i found they got in the way a bit since the rocks are bigger and i had weird angles. overall though the axe system is terrific. its very smooth, especially compared to my hpi venture stock system. the hpi is a bit more jumpy, just a bit though with that said, i dont really care for the body of the redcat, in pictures and on video, i liked it, but i definitely like the HPI body better, although the FJ Cruiser is one of my favorite cars of all time, so im very biased. i cant wait for it to dry up a bit so i can go again. i really like this truck a lot |
Re: redcat axe Pull the foams out of the tires and with boil them to remove the memory foam aspect, or install some new dual stage foams of your choice. Either will give you much better results than using the factory foams as supplied. I’ve been quite happy with mine since I changed the foams. |
