Whats in the box
 

Im very new to RC and even newer to Crawlers,I bought the redcat gen8 and there are some gears in the box i have no clue as a newbie,And ive searched the net everyway i can asking what the hell are these gears?Can someone please help so i know what i have cant ecven find in manual what they are.

It's an extra set of portal gears for the front axle. The original Gen 8 portal gears had inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. Some gears break, others don't (mine have never broke). Since the trucks were already manufactured & in the Phoenix warehouse, Redcat's solution was to include an extra set of gears in the box. The Axe edition has different gears & axles so it doesn't have that issue.

Thank you so much both of you im kinda new to forums and i should have know to put this under redcat.I havent had any probs with portal gears so far,but my shocks seem to leak i keep having to wipe the bottoms off.but im a noob and very loud.thanks again.
