| The axe gets a make over.
So I seen this video on you tube from red cat racing on how to use the proline F250 with a cage set up. I thought this looked really cool and decided to do this rather then sellingIt. So installed portal brass weights and I have some inner brass portal weights coming I decided to give it a go. Finished it up last night late and took it to CDM today and I was really surprised how well it did considering. This is the first body mod and paint is 20years and she came out good |

That looks really good. I’ve been tossing the idea of an f350 body for my gen 8. Thinking about going for the loops model on eBay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks rockcrawlingkid. I haven’t seen the loop model. The stock body is cool but for me just too big. I’ll post a link of today’s run in a bit so you can see how she did. Uploading at the moment. https://youtu.be/2tpxDZyNhlM Last edited by djr01974; 07-26-2020 at 08:54 PM. |

Not a Found On Russian Dump fan, bu that looks good. I like my Scout II body. However it is a bit topheavy. I just added some Treal Chubs, Knuckles using stock covers, and rear inner housings also using stock covers. Ive had the left knuckle screw threads give out, and the steering arm on the same knuckle was all bent to shit. So I figured metal Knuckles. Then I thought may as well go brass and add some low static weight. Figured the brass knucks would tear the shit out of the stock chubs, so I picked up the Treal chubs along with the Knuckles. Then I figured with that added weight up front, I had better balance it out some, so added the rear inner portal housings to help even out the new weight. I am contemplating a similar idea, However I may look for an old Comanche Truck Cab/front end. Or maybe an OLD IH Truck similar to this, Cropped and chopped ofcourse. http://assets.trucktrend.com/uploads...660&height=495 The Scout II body is getting a bit rough. But over all in ok shape. However I do like the idea of a Truck and Stubby Woody back. Last edited by Timmahh; 07-26-2020 at 09:35 PM. |
