Default What did you do with your Redcat this weekend?

Post up some photos and stuff guys, I’ll start.

Got to know my first crawler a little better. Hit the backyard and some ponds at the church lot. Cleared a couple windows. Stressed out as my 8 year old rolled it a lot.

Wish I could attach photos...

Some of these might be from earlier than this weekend, but they are recent.

Me at Virginia Kendall park

My wife and me at David Fortier park in Olmsted Falls

I don't know how she gets so much water in her tires

^^Lookin good!

Mounted some bfg’s on some new g-made steelies. Removed my decals. Painted the spare tire white to match new wheels. Prepping for white roof. Cleaned a bunch of mud out of the body from last run in the backyard. Had an epic trail ride through the construction zone I created with the box tractor.

Did a bit of cold weather crawling until I broke the rear links off of the dif housing. It was a blast!

I also did a little review of the danchee after a year and a half only broke one gear, one c knuckle 2 steering knuckles and a lower link and steering linkage, hence the custom lower links and steering links.

Worked on fitting a J Concepts Pinched F250 on my E10.
Seems to wide at the cab to keep it super low. So I'm rethinking my plan.

Looked at it occasionally while waiting for parts from Redcat that I doubt will ever show up.

Made a couple new videos this weekend, installed some much needed low cg weights on both the gen 7 and 8.
Found out my dad who's in his 70's loved the crawlers, had not seen him for 2 years due to schedules and covid19. So my dad me and my son crawled a lot this weekend just a small vid but it was a great time catching up.

Finally installed the light kit on the gen 8 with wendigo body.

Some long needed maintenance and added the Bowhouse RC PanHard relocation mount. It helps minimally really, but it does help.

Probably going to go on a trail run tomorrow with some locals.

fixed my burnt out headlight tonight, and had to swap my front turn signals as I had the ones in the bumper reversed.

Have goodies coming that should be s showing up by weeks end for the most part to help make her a bit more capable.
