I’m very surprise these aren’t more popular, I’m keeping mine a go fast rig and I’ve just ordered the Club 5 servo relocation kit to sort out the bump steering and dipping while steering, I also plan to get another set of front shocks and to lower the truck

Interesting... I don't have much, if any bump steer with the AR60 axle swap. I did have a little when it was on the stock axles - I mostly tuned it out with some spacers. Curious to see how it works out!

Shocks! I had looked at getting another set of fronts, but they are only available direct from Redcat at the moment and they want to charge a stupid amount for the shipping to the UK, so I picked up a pair of 103mm XD piggy’s, I ran these about 7 years on my Wraith and found them really good... I’m not a fan of bling on crawlers so used normal m3 button heads instead of big red alloy bleeder screws, I’ll also change the red bump stops to smaller black Axial ones Last edited by Curb Crawler; 10-03-2020 at 06:07 AM. |

Nice paint job! I was almost done with my build, but broke a rear axle tip(because of the Boom Racing Krait 2.2 wheel hub extensions) and sort of got distracted with other things. I’ve since gotten the replacement axle installed, but now have to assemble a different set of beadlocks.

Cool rig, I'm considering one of these as well. I currently have a Gen 8 V1 and just got a V2. Really great, underrated rigs in my opinion.

It’s a nice looking rig, thanks for the build thread. Can’t say I haven’t been tempted, but my 2.2 rigs have mostly been collecting dust for awhile. How is the performance of the stock shocks, any leakage? How much shorter are the gmades you replaced them with?

The Gmade shocks are 103mm, about the same as the stock front shocks, I never ran the stock shocks, the longer rears gave it a weird stance that I didn’t like
