you could take the adjusters off the top of the shocks if you want to lower it some more also the gen8 shocks are close enuff in size to other brands of shocks so most springs for say axial should work |

Okay, did go with the Traxxas yellow springs. They're working great. Were shorter than stock ones, but turned down adjusters. Also changed out bottom shock mount to old Axial ones I had. Now springs seat good. Did this only on rear shocks, as fronts are taking the most weight of the kit build. Cheers.
