Need some help with upgrade choices

I do have a Gen7 pro and a Gen8 v2

The Gen7 is upgraded with a Hobbywing 1080 which I like very, very much.
So I will upgrade the Gen8 with a Hobbywing 1080 too.

From what I've seen both cars can have benefit from an other motor.
So I found this youtube:

Looks very good, but I have the feeling that 35T has to much torque. So I think it will give to much stress on the driveline? Or is a wrong thinking of me?

What do you all advice for the Gen7-pro and the Gen8?

A 35t will be a great upgrade. I ran one in my Everest 10 with no drama.
I also have a HW1080 and 25t in my Gen 7. It did great on 3s on the rocks and ripping around but the front plastic diff finally stripped out. I have aluminum ones going in this weekend.

Sorry for the late reply. Had some other things to do than RC hobby.....

Thanks Skrewfly!
One of the shops were I buy my stuff had free shipping. They had the Hobbywing 1080 on stock but no Holmes Hobbies motors.
So for now I only bought the ESC and see how it goes.
Build it in allready but can not test it, because I have a charging problem:cry:

If I can't find it....it will be another post in another forum
