Re: cvd's?... no problem You just bullshootin' us or do you really have this project in working condition?? I challenge you to post pics ASAP !! {only because Im so damn anxious to see it :-} |
Re: cvd's?... no problem He's got something, trust me and with this whether we got he won't be posting till late this arvo, you gotta get some pics from the comp today man. |
Re: cvd's?... no problem well todays comp went great, i placed 3rd. (we wont tell anyone that there was only 3 pro rigs on course today, it'll be our little secret.) i think one of the other guys got some photos of my rig and i got some video footage which i will edit and post up later this week. the cvd's worked well and are a huge improvment, and to prove im not bullshiting here are a couple of teaser shots. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps5c6213cd.jpg ready to go for the comp. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...psdb269292.jpg full right to full left. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...psed176c89.jpg see im not bullshiting |
Re: cvd's?... no problem |
Re: cvd's?... no problem We want more pics  What are those CVD and how do you connect " the dogbone " inside ? |
Re: cvd's?... no problem Looks like plenty of steering. How much angle you think you're getting? |
Re: cvd's?... no problem I'm pretty sure not certain though that he has used wraith cvd's and ax10 knuckles. |
Re: cvd's?... no problem Not wraith cvd's but 2 x long venom creeper ones (they have a long and short one) there were the cheapest option. Now that I have proved the concept I will look into using acc/ax10 cvds next time for a better quality part. Max steering from lock to lock is a little over 90 deg. The knuckles in the pic were only for mounting. I'm now useing vanquish products 0 Ackerman knuckles for the scx/ax10. |
Re: cvd's?... no problem I'm guessing you put a pin in the end of the axle for the spur. |
Re: cvd's?... no problem Yeah. I have more pics to upload. Will try to do it tonight |
Re: cvd's?... no problem updated my build thread if you want to see the cvd's go here http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/redca...ter-build.html |
Re: cvd's?... no problem Please, could you post pics of your modification? And try to use imgur.com ;-) |
Re: cvd's?... no problem Pics please. Can't seem to see them. |
Re: cvd's?... no problem This is an old thread. I don't think he has this rig anymore. But basically he cut a CVD to length then drilled a hole and added a pin for the spur. |
Re: cvd's?... no problem any part number or sites to go for the cvd's cant find em |
