Got too much money in an E10 in my opinion but it turned out pretty good. Wraith cage with a hinge inspired by Harley designs. Scx10 chassis and redcat axles.

Factory redcat esc for now. Axial 27t motor, trx 2056 servo and sr415 receiver. Still got some work to do with the links and would like longer shocks for a little more flex.

To much money is part of the hobby, and original one of a kind builds are also a big part. Good job thinking outside the box! I too have way to much invested in a E10, but it's one of a kind and crawls it's ass off. Can't wait to see your finished product.

I agree with Jeepiac, I too have an e10 with two or three times what it's worth invested in it, but yours is way more unique.

Love it. Reminds me of my rs10/wraith, which needs to be redone.

Would a 17.5 brushless sensored motor be too much you guys think?

it is not a question of motor but of what gears you also use
a brushless motor tends to cog at slow speeds but you can minimize this by gearing.

also, what battery will you want to use? 2 cell or 3 cell lipo?

drop 2 or 3 teeth and/or make the spur gear bigger and you should have no problems

Ok. I may try it. Haven't decided yet. I'll be using 2 cell lipos only.

Went back to the E10 tires. Actually got it ouside. I tried the brushless setup but it wasn't much different than the axial 27t. So I stuck with that to keep it water resistant. It still needs some work though. Mainly getting the axles with where they set more level. The pinion is pointing way up and the front caster is way off.

I think it's finally setup to my liking. At least for now. It's 4 wheel steer. Battery is in front now. I have a Traxxas sealed radio box mounted in the rear. It now has wraith RTR shocks. It has decent suspension travel now.
