Default RS10XT has programmable ESC

After having my RS10 for a bit it bothered me that I had to keep my throttle trim 13% to the rear so the truck wouldn't want to move forward. I was looking on redcats site today and found this: http://www.redcatracing.com/manuals/E401.pdf

Turns out you can set the throttle zero/ max points, voltage cutoff and heat cut offs through the ESC.

Everything else I've read about the little white button was just about the reverse brake. Turns out it's a program button.

I've since reprogrammed my throttle points ( which now have my trims at 0 ) and low voltage cutoff.

Hope this helps someone

so you finally read the instructions?
every thing needs to be calibrated, nothing comes fully ready from the factory
specially at the prices we are paying or these redcats

There was nothing in the instruction booklet that came with the truck about this. I was looking at the ESC in redcats parts and saw there was a pdf link. Clicked on it and found the ESC program info

Has anyone tried this ESC running off a single motor? Because the same ESC appears to be used by HaiBoxing and I can pick one up locally for $AUD25.00. That's not bad for a programmable ESC with lipo cutoff etc.

The motor wires are wired parallel, so I would assume just using one set of wires wouldn't harm anything.
