Default Everest 10 rear steer question

Can someone please post a pic of your rear steer Everest 10, so I can get some ideas on the mod for best results. Thank you all.

Just look at your front axle. Yup, that's what the real axle will look like when it's done.

I used rs10 esc and 3channel radio. Almost done with this, well...almost.

Is there a write-up or how-to on adding rear steer? I understand the components, but I can't figure out how to do control and wiring?

the easiest and most useful way is to get at least a 3 channel transmitter/receiver setup.
you use one channel for the esc and 2 channels for the steering servos. should be able to set it up
to do both together or either one or even one reversed from the other.

I say at least a 3 channel transmitter but you can never have enough. you might want later to add lights,
winch, or even go to an moa with 2 motors so at least a 4 channel.
or my preference is to use an airplane (stick radio) transmitter. you can get them used in ebay at a good price.
I use a spectrum 7 channel, receivers from hobbyking cost about 10.00 each. the radio has 20 memory locations
for multiple cars. horizon hobby will gladly convert it over to car for free.

the cheap and easy way is to use a "y" harness and parallel the front and back servos but you wont have
the easy switchability between the diffetrent setups

if you don't want a stick radio get a flysky gt3b or gt3c (?) with the hack from overkillrc

I went with rs10 radio, receiver and esc [e401]. You will also need a servo, servo plate and arm. Also the short steering link and another pair of
front suspension arms [bent for steering clearance]. A few screws and you have 4ws. Everything fits, no surgery or glueing needed.

On front steer it has a huge turning radius. 4ws is big bonus, makes a huge difference. This is one way to do it, not the only way.

So, for a functional setup now, can I just get a servo cable splitter? I'm assuming I need a reverse servo cable splitter?

yes
to get basic 4ws full time where the front points one way and the rear the other
you need a splitter with one end reversed ( or a splitter and a separate servo reverser
if you cannot find one a "y" with included reverser)
