Have you ever run a set of CI foams before? I have never spent the money on them

I have CI foams in all my rigs. Been using them since 2014, when I got my first SCX10. They are very effective at allowing the outer section of the tire to conform to the terrain, while preventing it from collapsing under load. Some people don't mind that, but when you're side-hilling, a weak foam can cause a truck to roll over, which could be bad if you're up on a mountainside.

No that you say that I've watched the tire fold over and this rig flop. I'm guessing from exactly what you're saying. Maybe I'll put them on my Christmas list haha wife- " you want me to buy what??"

From what I've read, with just a few upgrades and/or mods, it can handle pretty well. I'm guess I'm surveying to determine if it's a mostly enjoyable truck, overall.
Well, I wanted to come back and follow up, since I finally had a chance to get out with my E10 in stock form. I took it to a popular crawl spot, one that is used frequently for comps, and really enjoyed that articulation, as it works well on the big rocks. I've got plans to further enhance my E10's crawl capabilities, and overall performance and appeal; not for comps, but personal enjoyment. As previously mentioned, I have SCX10's for scale/trail purposes. When I'm ready, I'll post up a thread to document my alterations. I think I'm going to have fun with this one.

Switch to a stickier tire and you'll be amazed. I'm still at 0 failures! I drive it safe but put it through most of what I throw at it

Technically yes. The stock wheels are quite wide so they will stretch a little. I think there is a photo of the Rok locks on the stock wheels inherent somewhere

http://www.axialracing.com/products/ax08142

These are what I have. You probably won't find much cheaper than that. They also come with hub spacers that bolt to the wheel.

Hi LamChop,

I have the wheels and tires you mention in this thread (http://www.axialracing.com/products/ax08142) and would now like to mount them to my E10.

Sorry for the noob question, what do I need to swap out in order to mount these to the stock axles?

Looking at page 20 here http://docs.axialracing.com/instruct...TR.pdf#page=20 it looks like I need the equivalent of AX31266.

So either 4x of AX31266, or maybe something like these:
SLW 350 Wheel Hub - Vanquish Products
or
SLW 475 Wheel Hub - Vanquish Products

Thanks,
George
