Default Tapered the body

Bored with the way it looked, and needed more clearance for the 5.5" cut Trepadors, so I went to cutting away. Don't mind the two holes. They are from mock up on another truck I'm building.

These probably. I do like the realistic one too, name of them escapes me, but they look nice. I could go either way.

That's a big tire. I've got them on my Wraith now. Haven't tried them on my Everest yet.

Few questions for you. Just got an e10 and want to do the same. First, how did you decide how much to cut. Second, what did you use to secure along the cuts. Third, what is the black pad on the bed?

Start with a straight cut down the center, then overlap then to determine how much taper you want. After that, cut through both layers to make the seam match. I used drywall tape and GOOP epoxy to bond it back together. The black plate in the bed is Kydex.

Thanks. I also narrowed a body, without the taper.

Thanks guys.

Don't be afraid to cut it up, just cut a little at a time and use electrical tape to hold it together while you step back and take a look. If you cut too much, it might just make you see a different design to make.

A new body is only about $23.

I cut them for another Everest I was building. The shocks and towers stuck through.
