| Pimp cane 10
Why hasnt anybody tried a tortion chassis on their 10 yet ? I had mine climbing stairs, it was waaay more capable than anythig else I tried and yes it was 2.2 legal @ 12.5 inches . No shocks or links to get in the way . run the biggest damn motor you can fit with BTA steering too . Just an Idea , - Bob

The pimp cane clearance really does help and is super light. I my self always wanted to build a 1:1 rock buggy but its not in the cards so i built a 1/10 rock buggy do you have pics of your setup

That's awesome and it still has about the same amount of flex as my sprung tuber but with way better break over. Did you have to drill more holes in spine to add flex?

I wouldnt flip the axle . The clod did that because it was so bulky , but I dont think there is a need on the 10

I plan on running the the way they are factory. I've been looking at alot of pimp cane setup's but I honestly think with the rs10 axel's I wont need to change the way they are setup. I'm gonna run it and change thing's and see what work's best I will post picture's.

I am fairly new and have an RS10. I just came across this post and wow am I mad I didn't read it a year ago. I sent an email to JP custom rc to see if he had any intetions of making them again. No word yet. I have read lots of people making their own home made versions but no real guides other than a peice of aluminum in the middle with holes drilled in it for flex.

soooo ive been reading this and a bunch of other torsion chassis threads and waiting on my new chassis to come in i decided to take aa trip to Lowes and see what i could come up with.....$4 and 15 mins later this is what it looks like!! i used a piece of screen something or other i saw in a old ax10 thread ($3.66 for 8') and two small pieces of aluminium angle to mount it to the axles (only part i dont like...to thin). zip tied the battery and stock esc on top and headed out in the yard to see what would happen. |

ow the motors are the frist thing to hang up.....other then that its almost boreing how well it actually works thinking about getting a piece of 1/2" alum. channel and making something like ZNO wing delete kit to mount them. this.......thing flexes rediculiously but it also flexes under power and deceleration pretty bad due to not having enough back bone.
