| My E 10 build
This is my first crawler. Got a great deal shopping around and found my E 10 for less than $100. It's a work in progress. Basically the only upgrades I did to this for now is aluminum lockers (good idea at the time, well see) tube chassis obviously and a 35t. Next Will be some sort of wheels and tires. I have taken it out once on a embankment to see how it does on something impossible to climb because I was worried about the battery being mounted up top but it did surprising well for no wheels weights! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk |

LOOks awesome!. Where did you buy that cage. OR did you make it? I like where your going with this build too. A brand new cage is not usually the first route people take with their everest 10s. But i like it! Im diggind the rockstar thing too if it were to coever it completely Ive been thinking about getting an e10 and throwing on some custom chassis rails on with a CMS and a new body then calling it a scaler. New tires and wheels tho 2 obviously. If i do it ill make sure to do a thread. What kind of electronics/ drivertrain were you looking at? Did you plan on going brushless. Where are you going to take this truck? |

Yeah haha. More cans more rockstar tho. Also some of those monster posters with double sided tape then a couple clearcoats around the whole thing looks pretty nice

I might do a build like that for my friend. Need anything but the cage to mount it up?

Ya the cage is the unregulated 2.2 I picked up on Amazon. The electronics is a old "water resistant" esc. I personally don't plan on going with brushless mainly because of the price and it's not necessary. The tires are stock and I think they may be the only thing that keeps it from scale, which will be my next purchase. I do wish I could have covered the cage better but you only got so much material to work with out of a rockstar can and keeping it neat. The skid plate has a tab on both sides you have to take off before squeezing it in the cage but other than that it hooks right up. Here's a few pics of a morning run from today Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk Last edited by THX_138; 04-21-2018 at 03:33 AM. |

Well add some 2.2 air filled beadlocks to my rig the other day. Pumped them up to the measurements and it was like driving on balloons. Deflating them and bearly adding air was the best for traction So I ditched the the small tires for something a little bigger Finally got a break from the cold!
