|  Need a pinion gear
My son installed a 35t motor into his E10. He would not wait on me to help. He ended up stripping out the set screw on the pinion gear. I thought I had had planned ahead and bought some steel redcat at gears but they are for a different model and don't fit. Will try local store tomorrow,but they don't carry Redcat. What can I look for that will fit? Thanks for any input.

If i remeber the e10 uses the 32p pinnion and spur gears u can use any combo set up for a scx10 or wraith in what ever size or pitch you want i went a bit higher on the pinnion tooth count so it goes a little bit faster

It's 48p. Stock gear is 14t. Go with fewer teeth for slower speeds or more for faster. I believe the largest pinion that will fit with a stock vehicle is 17T and the smallest 10T. Apart from this, watch out for pinion gears that have a large base (where the set screw fits). I bought a hot racing one that didn't fit because this area was too big.

Hobby shop was able to fix me up with a steel replacement pinion.
