Man where were you a month ago. I was in Narragansett rhode island and I was trying to find someone on here for like 4-5 days. I live in south carolina. I of course cant help you with finding someone but I did find a couple of places that were pretty sweet. One place is Scarborough Beach. It was pretty good has a lot scale looking features. Also another GREAT place is Beavertail state park (out by the ocean) Lots of cool and big rocks out there. Here are a couple of pics. the first is scarborough beach and the second is beavertail state park. |

| I totally forgot about scarborough
I usually try to avoid the beaches in the summer becuase of the extreme tourism. Its alot nicer to head down there in the fall or spring. How did u enjoy your stay in RI?

That a beautiful state you have there. We went to fall river (battleship cove). We also spent a day in boston, Ma. we took a high speed ferry out of newport to Providence. Newport is a beatiful town also. I ate my first bite of new england clam chowder (chowda) at iggy's doughboys and clamcakes. Last year we went down to newport and took tours of all the mansions I loved the Breakers mansion. We also walked forever on the cliffwalks (very good crawling there if you don't mind losing your life on the cliffs. I didn't crawl there though. But most of all I LOVED ALL THE GREEN GRASS AND COOL WEATHER. there is some beatiful grass there. I'm assuming some type of bluegreass or fescue. and the nice temp of about 75 all week long. Here in south carolina we also have nice grass but it takes lots of constant work to get it. And 90 degrees with a heat index of 100 degrees is pretty common around the same time we went up there. But I did love it. We plan on going every year in august if possible. I just don't wanna where out my welcome and get bored with it.

Just watched the weather (we're in SE CT) and Sunday looks good - maybe a shower in the early morning but by early afternoon things look promising. I don't want to turn anybody away so if the weather is real bad I'll figure out another date or if anybody wants to come by any other time just let me know. curt |
