This weather is really starting to suck. It seems that it rains every freakin' weekend and throughout most of the week. All I can say is that I'm going to plan to attend, but I'm also going to keep watching the forecast and, to be honest, will bail if it looks like there's a good chance of rain. I'd rather go on a nice day that I can really enjoy. For now, the plan is to go crawling. S-Dog, where is a good place to meet at the park? |

I will go take a ride there and map distances from both entrances. We should probably meet right at that big rock. The park is one BIG circle. The rock is almost at the very end of the circle. I will try to get that info tonight.

Probably the simplest route from CT is 95 North to 146 North then take the Twin River Road exit. Go left off the exit and once you enter the park take a right at the stop sign. The loop is one way so just follow it around till you come to the parking area with the rock formation next to the water. Joe I googled directions to the park entrance. Google Map Link | |

It takes UNREAL pictures and the quality is unmatched...I will bring my mini tripod too for a decent group photo..if I can remeber how to use the stupid timer.... |

OK....so here are the distances once you get into the park. the covered bridge entrance: 3 miles (more than likely you will not use this entrance....) the main entrance(not covered bridge): 1.9 miles (this will prolly be the entrance you use) when you enter from the main entrance take a right, you will go ALL the way around (keep right) you will pass a big parking lot, go over a little wooden bridge, you will pass the boat ramp entrance, go up a big hill, then go down a big hill... the meeting area/rocks are at the bottom of this hill.... Hope this helps..... |
