East End Machining velcro body mounts

I got these samples from Joe at East end machining. I just happend to have my HPI bug body that I did not want to drill holes in sitting around. It finally got a home thanks to these very nice mounts. Includes delrin posts to mount to the side plates, and billet adjustable plates for the velcro to attatch too. Great job Joe I hope to gte some of thes on hand soon. "thumbsup"

How strong is the velcro? Would it leave the lid on during a few roll-overs and recoveries?

Joe has told me he has had no issues with his lids coming off. Mine seems pretty damn tough, but I am still building mine and have not took it for any severe tumbles.

Been running home grown velcro mounts from the get go.... never had an issue with losing a body. "thumbsup"

Those are sweet, and it looks like commercial grade Velcro...should hold very well.

Any more news on when these will be available? Will they be adjustable to different widths, I saw you said adjustable billet plates, I just don't see how they adjust width, these will work great for a scale build.

I am not sure when we will see them. I I should have stated you can adjust the width 1 time  The post can be cust down to make the width narrower. I will hit EEM up to see when we can get them

oh, so by width you mean over all width of the body, I thought it meant the width of the plate for the velcro to go onto, because I was thinking of running these upwards, and having the body sit down on them, but I think they might be too wide for my chassis. When you do get them, please be sure to post up the width of how far apart the posts are, that way we can tell if they will work or not. Thanks so much!

Was thinking the same thing, am running a Bender Chassis and only real place to be able to mount this is on the top of the chassis.
