Yep, got mine installed this morning.....MUCH better than the RC4WD scaler shocks that were on my light truck to begin with.

Yeah, these shocks need no instructions. Pull them out of the package, unscrew the top, fill it up with the oil listed on the back, cycle the shock to get the air out, replace the top and install. Simple. Just like ANY other shock...

Very nice indeed...just what I was expecting from Proline after owning their other Powerstrokes.

These are going to be so sweet set up as droop with internal springs.

Instructions for what? They come completely pre-assembled. They show you the fill level for the oil on the back of the card. Only other thing they haven't done for you is replace the lower rod end with the longer one.
Come on now......you know someone will ask where to put the oil. What kind of silicone to use, what are the extra shock ends for, why is there an extra spring For you, myself, and most people here on this site instructions are not necessary...I'm just thinking about the others....you know the ones that will over fill the damn things, or not even check to see that things are tightened up, then oil leaks out...then bash a perfectly good product......you know.

These things look so scale to an air shock if you remove all the collars and springs...

Here are some pics of them on a just recently declassified project..."dark matter".

I'm sorry...but this is all that I am at liberty to reveal at this time.

Well, I took the plunge. Got my order placed tonight. Gotta give these a try. I have had the RC4WD Dual Spring shocks pull apart on me (2 different shocks)...once in a comp. Time to move to greener waters.

Those are looking so nice. Can someone take a picture next to the stock AX10 shocks, without the springs? Considering these for a droop setup.

Anyone compared them to the Axial comp shocks or the axial scaler shocks

Here's a couple of side by side pics for you.
The Pro-lines (with the shorter rod ends) are about .100" shorter than the stock SCX10 shocks. They appear to have about the same amount of travel if you're using the rubber spacer on the SCX shocks.
Hope this helps.

Edit:Just realized you wanted them next to the AX10 shocks.Sorry.

Got mine in today. They are some pretty easy shocks to build (guess just add oil). They did forget to add some washers so that a 3mm button head screw wouldn't pull through the upper shock cap. They are pretty darn smooth.

What weight oil are you running with these shocks?

Depends on what you want the shocks to do? Is your rig heavy, light?
Typically you want heavier shock oil for heavier rigs, also you can control how fast/slow your shocks react during articulation cycles?!
So with that being said, for most light crawlers, you can get away with 30-60WT and for heavier rigs, like heavy tubers/scalers, 80-100 works well..
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. Im looking into getting these for my CR-01 and removing the cantilevers. So with what you suggest I think Ill try out the 40wt. Thanks again.
