Something New & Different Kayak kit by Gear Head RC

So many times when I finish one of my scale builds I find myself looking for a Kayak. As many know they are hard to find unless you are lucky to find some sort of toy set with one. With me starting the new Gear Head RC line we are thriving to bring new things to the table, many things I want :-) Working with Jim he designed up this Kayak we are now pleased to offer!

This is a wooden "kit" For the experienced builder. Not as easy as just buying off the shelf. But I must say it is a fun build process. Stain it, Laquar, it paint it. Make it to your own! I hope people get a lot of enjoyment with these! Available to purchase now!

Thank you, I was the one who painted it. Used to paint a lot. No just here and there for projects every once in awhile.

Just very new here. I am about to purchase a trailfinder and the main reason I want one is that I fell in love with the one on the gearhead site. Are they automotive paints used or the x34 tamiya through air brush. I know that when I painted my tundra, I didn't have time to let it totally dry before the clear cote. This would make it very hard to mask off. Any help on how you did it would very much appreciated.

Hello and Thanks. This is painted with House Of Kolors automotive paints and clear. It is a activated paint that dries in minutes. Very nice to work between color coats for doing graphics.
