Default A crawler/scaler flash back in my RC History

I do not think many realize how far back I go with crawlers and scale trucks. I did not either..... Time fly's when you are having fun! I managed to run across some old pictures of my 1st 2.2 Crawler. These pictures are dated back to 2001. The chassis was built for my by Kevin Good in PA on of the most talented gentlemen I can say I have ever had the privilege to work with. Based on bruiser axles and a one off tranny and chassis. Man I wish I still had this.

As far as scalers I did a ton of bruisers, but this was my prized truck that I built and was featured in Rc Car Action in 2001. Scratch built shell, cowl hood, paint by me.

My Clod body bruiser 2000

I had built and painted alot of bruiser based scale trucks back then some of my collection from then

Wrangler based bruiser I built 2001 as well

My favorite monster truck build I ever did

I still remember these names. I used to frequented RCMT.net before I stepped away from RC in 2003 (recently got back). Not to mentioned I remember most of the pictures posted here so far. I used to drool over them. Juggster, RCWizard and Bruiser Builder were the goto guys for custom works on your rig back then. The Bruiser chassis was what really got me into RC back then. At one point, everyone seems to be putting a YJ body on a Bruiser chassis. I jumped in on the craze and built one myself. While I was building mine, I was lucky enough to came across the infamous Brawler Jeep Bruiser that Bruiser Builder custom built. These two became my pride and joy. The good old days... Thanks for the trip down memory lane Corey.

AHH the good ole days, back when I used to build tube frames and ESP was gonna sue me for he thought he owned the theory of a ladder chassis for clodbusters And it only took 10yrs for Traxxas to come out with a 4x4 pede..we had it all figured out back then
I had one of the jeepruisers as we once called them,it was yellow with a yellow powder coated chassis, and a tan top on it...along with some radio shack tires because nobody made a scale enough tire back then. I think I sold you a couple trucks at one time.. or at least some parts.. I still have that 1/8th scale 32 ford roadster and Iroc model in the box as I got it after you painted it.. One of these days I will get it together.

Corey remember my yellow crewcabed Juggy bodied bruiser? People used to think we were nuts for cutting up a bruiser let alone "juggernaut" bodies. That is still sitting in storage unfinished, which is on my "to do list"...

Wow, nice thread Corey! I remember all those pics and names. I bought a TXT from a friend, that was cool, then I found the Mud Cow which is what sparked my interest in crawling...

Good ole times.
