Default question bout reverse

hey guys just ran into this tonite crawling by myself but wanted to ask about reversing. now i know reverse is a penalty but what if you use reverse to untweak a torqued suspension and the vehicle adjusts but never actually moves backwards? i came across this today testing some changes to my droop setup and i have tons of torque twist still and when id get a wheel up in the air id simply reverse and drop the wheel but never actually back up just un torque would this still be a penalty?

A reverse is a reverse. If your wheels go in reverse at all that is a point.

Only if the wheels move backward.

Sounds like you just need more time in the suspension/links/shocks.

I've been caught twisted, but my JR 8711 servo will wiggle the steering and cause things to settle if I'm up in the bind.

I agree...reverse is 1 wheel noticably moving backward as per the rules.

Is it 'roll' backwards or 'move' backwards? For instance, on a climb, I lock up the wheels and the truck moves back, the wheels do not roll, but slide.

Proper term would be rotate.

If the tires are rotating in a forward direction, or are stopped, and the vehicle moves or slides backwards; that is not a reverse.
The tires must rotate in the reverse direction for it to be a reverse.
