Default lockable rear steer in 2.2?

I started reading some of the other threads, but couldn't find an answer.

Can you run a 4ws rig in 2.2 class if you lock out the rear?

And another question while I'm at it......can you run a custom made body such as this...or would something like this not be considered 1/10th scale?

If the rear steer is locked out then it doesn't have rear stear. And I don't think that your body is going to be legal, reason being that if you can use a homemade body then the next guys will be smaller and then smaller, then we are back to the whole tubechassis/unibody thing. But my opinion doesn't matter, but if I saw you at a comp with that I would complain.

its been awhile since i read the rules and i dont think i read them fully, but i was under the impression that it has to resemble a 1:1, no excessive body cutting or atleast 75% of the original body or somthing and for tubers must resemble 1:1's and have panels. maybe not necesarily resemble 1:1's but be somewhat realistic looking.

the truth be spoken...

Sucks about the body, but ok....... I was thinking about strapping a dead possum to the top of my crawler...would that be legal?

LOL, Im sure that body is going to be so much lighter he will fly across the rocks and own everyone. I actually like a heavy rig, no weights in tires and my SW2 TLT weighed over 5lbs and it did good!

It's realy not that body that I don't like, personaly I see no advantage to it, its the fact that the next guy will push it even farther, and then the next guy and so on. Jees I sound like Fishmaxx now....

That Body would fall under the custom/tubed chassis rule. If you cant buy it in the store/ from a vendor... then it falls under those rules
