Default Local Modifications to USRCCA Rules?

I was curious to hear what changes or variations on the National rules that other clubs are using. I know some clubs don't utelize the 40 points max per stage, but would really like to know what "local rules" are being used.

Here in WA, the only real change we've made is we don't use the rule stating that there is a max of 10 reverse points charged per gate. The main reason is that tracking revere points per gate make things harder for the scorekeeper.

MNRCRC has our point out moved to 60, and our starting order is by poker chip draw for the first stage of each class, then you move to the second/third stage in the same order. Otherwise we run pretty much the USRCCA rules.

As long as your group realizes that when they go to compete at nationals that the rules will be different.

None... So Cal Runs the same rules. Why change it up when Nationals rules are set? I'd much rather win with the exact same set of rules so that when I make it to the Nationals I won't have to change my rig or my driving style.

Our group does
It was only done because of how far some of the competitors drive every Two weeks to compete. 4 hours driving every other Sunday all Summer is too far for some to not be able to run more then a couple of minutes if they happen to have a bad day. The vast majority haven't pointed out anyway.

We don't use the 20 points per gate or the 10 reverses per gate.

Curious - does that mean a driver can get 40 points on the first gate, and be done with their run due to point-out?

I realized another modification we run - running order is determined by season standings. Leaders go first, newb's go last.
