maybe the next big thing for scale comps?

I got one, I use it all the time. It really works great, can't say I've had any complaints.

I have had issues with that model, it seems that tread design (slots on the sides) fail under load.

This is the only model that seems to work for me (other then high heels).

Winching off your shoe is a safety hazzard. You could cause yourself to fall down or you foot could get sucked into the winch spool.

we just banned it locally, the group as a whole decided it would be more fun that way.. its now considered cheating. hence the pull pal idea.

I made something similar to that. Called it a land ancor though. Not that impressive either.

It's next to the hook in this pic (not a very good pic though)

lol funily enough i was thinking of building one the other day but decided on a rod you push into the ground with a little eyelit on the top i only got as far as a proto type, the base is u channel and the arm things are poly prop couldn't see it holding up to winching






also sorry for the horrid quality, camera isn't great

whats stabilizes it left to right? to keep it from just flopping over as you start to pull on it?

some one ussualy holds it and once it starts digging into the ground it should hold its self

They're about 1/10th and right around 4.5 inches folded up. The first one I made held 70lbs of rocks! I've gotta get my winch working right and get a better video now but its also raining so that doesn't help.
