Default Rc4wd Bulldog Winch Testing

Got my winch in today and got it all mounted up to my timberwolf. Boy does this thing look great. I did take the fairlead off the winch mount to mount to my truck though as the bumper has its own fairlead. I'll save that for another project.

This thing is powerful, I will say that. I cannot stall this thing by hand like both of the 3racing winches I've had. It is put together nicely and I personally give this an A+

Like I said at the end of the video, it's not true testing until I get out to a comp. During a pull, there is more load put on the winch then just pulling it up and down. Still impressive though.

Also like I said in the video, I tested the winch at 6v. Rc4wd recomends not going above 7.4, so I still have alot of room to work with the winch.

Here are some pics for you guys as well

I was told this is the medium kingkong hook. If so it's only available on the winch. ;)

Mini bullet plugs, and the esc. Pretty nice IMO. Easy to waterproof as well

Size comparison with the 1/8th scale 3-racing winch.

great video, migth have to pick on of these up, have you tried running it at like 6.5v or more, i think 6.5 would be a good V to run it at and not harm it

I was actually planning to bump up the voltage to different increments and see what seems to work. I was thinking about doing these test.

6v (done)
6.5v
7.2v
and 7.4v

The 7.2 and 7.4 would be fore like a 6cell pack and a 2s.
