Default Agh! What happened to the winches?!

I've been away for a while, too busy to build up a crawler like I want. I still haven't even finished my SVT-Focus replica HPI RS4.

However, a few months back, it seemed that the miniature replica winches were CHEAP (less than $20) on ebay and all over the place. Now I can't seem to find them anywhere for less than $30-40?

Anyone know where I can get one on the cheap? Thanks, -Matt

To be honest with ya, I cant recall them going for less than $20.00. I purchased one of the first 3racing sets from prpracing when they came out and I paid $22.00 for it.

But anyways Corey just had a sale on them but I dont think its going on anymore.

there also is a brushless version called the bulldog from RC4WD.
Some with wireless remotes as well

But if I am correct, someone in the forsale section is selling a gunmetal bulldog with an extra gearbox.

and then you have the MSD winch. Now I dont personally have one, but from what I understand from a few very good sources is that its pretty much indestructable. as it should be. and has a quick release which is nice for time and dependability.

You could also go with a fake winch from proline pretty cheaply, but I've never seen the working winches for under $25.00
