| Another satisfied Bill's Custom RC Lighting customer!(Pics Inside)
Bought a led kit from Bill' Custom RC Lighting and I love it. Really high quality, bright, lightweight, and easy to set up on a crawler. http://www.billscustomrclighting.com/ Here it is in the F350 SCX10 I am building(crappy phone pics): Last edited by BadRockNoCookie; 11-16-2009 at 08:47 PM. |

Nice looking work. Thanks for the link . Are you using the 5mm or the 10mm LEDs for the headlights?

well Im just saying there are alot of vendors here that sell lights and light kits like RPPhobby, RC4WD, Tattoo kenny, ect. to name a few and I think its a little unfair that your advertising for Bill and his product line when he isnt a vendor here at all. We tend to take care of our own and supporting the vendors is what keeps us offering you guys freebies, and product lines you all want. If Bill was a vendor here I am sure he would be appreciated for his partisipation. But your pretty much doing it for him which is a kick in the balls for the guys who are certified vendors here. Perhaps you should read the rules you agreed to when you joined. Im pretty sure what your doing is an infraction to the rules. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/misc.php?do=cfrules Last edited by team3six; 11-24-2009 at 11:10 AM. |

And I plug RPP as well. But to say that someone can't mention that they had a good experience with a certain company's product just because they are not a sponsored vendor is a little rediculous and I don't think that the people who run this forum are going to have as much of a problem with 1 thread about an unsponsored vendor as you do. It's not as though I go through the forum posting this everywhere or every chance I get. This is just one thread to let people in the RC world that might stumble upon this page looking for lighting for there RC know that, hey, this company's product is a viable option for that and that someone had a good experience with their product. I have ordered more than enough from the sponsored vendors on this site to proudly say that I have supported them well over the 2 months that I have been into this hobby. RPP alone has seen at least $450 of sales flow into it's company because of me. So one mention of another company should be just fine. Last edited by BadRockNoCookie; 11-24-2009 at 12:42 PM. | |

Nothing against pimping other products here. Just can't pimp your own stuff if you aren't a vendor. I like seeing new products and review, keep em coming! |

instead of this getting all heated why doesnt someone send "biil" an email and ask him to join our site,,then this can be laid to rest besides,,not all the vendors here,,,uh no on second thought im not posting what i was going to say,,,,send him an email if you support his product and tell him he has a market here and see what he says. but i will say this we can always use new blood in the vendors section Last edited by rmdesignworks; 11-24-2009 at 04:01 PM. |

I buy my light kits from Bills as well and i really do wish he was a vendor on this sight so more members could use his product and have even mentioned it to him in a message on 1 of my purchases. But to say you can't mention a good find of a product on this forum is ridiculous! How about all the hard bodies people use for example they give place of purchase, brand and the cost with no hassle. Thats part of the fun of this hobby, finding new products and ideas for your builds and sharing them with others. Just my 2 cents |

Nice looking kit! I would agree with your opinions of Bill's products... Not to mention his customer service is top notch. I have no intention to offend, only sharing my experience a few pictures of a custom chassis built with a little help from Bill Heath Last edited by The Cow; 11-26-2009 at 02:36 PM. |

nice looking kit thanks for sharing the info nothing wrong with more lighting options and its not like you are trying to sell his product without the proper vendor star i guess people had better stop posting links to tower hobbies as well since they dont have a star here correct? lol

a friend of mine has his lights on his Bronco scaler and is pleased with them. they're nice and easy to mount up and for those that arent electrically talented they can make it a lot easier then buying your own and figuring out resistors and wiring. thaks for sharing |
