Default How do I wire lights to run off RX servo port?

I'm sure this question has been asked elsewhere, but I can't seem to find it. How can I turn my lights on and off by using a servo port in the RX, I am using a Spektrum 6ch radio and have plenty of switches for turning the lights on and other accesories. I hooked them into the red and back leads, that keeps the lights on all the time, I know there must be some way to switch them off. Thanks for any help! Dan.

You need a switch . This can be electronic or mechanical but electronic is the way to go. Mechanical-(using a micro servo to hit a on/off switch) You can buy this for example "pico switches" or you can make one like I did out of a servo circuit board. I should have a thread on it some where in this forum. If ur intrested in making one, let me kno and I might tell you the secret.

Thanks for the replies, I like the idea of making my own board, I have a lot of broke servos (Helis) Dan.
