Default TLT shock fix

Ive been having trouble with my TLT shocks being very rough. The top mounting holes are made for 90* mounting. But the way i always mount them, both ends of the shock need to swivel for smooth flexing. This was one way that i fixed the "binding" problem.

I simply took a traxxas rod end and put it on the TLT shock caps.

I took the dremel out and cut the tops of the TLT shock cap, filed the tops smooth, then i drilled a 1/8" hole in the center. I then took a 3mm screw and put it through the shock cap, then into the rod end. Very simple fix, and its been done before on other shocks, but i haven't seen them on TLT's. good luck!
