Default scale size nitrous bottles

looking for some, any vendor make them? I found a set in a fast and furious car but they look small to me as car is 1/18th. I have done some searching on ebay for other car models that may have them but yet to come up with anything.

You could try painting a fire extinguisher blue and putting some stickers on it.

i would go to a local hobby store and buy a little bit of styrene and go to the rocket shelf and get a 1/2 inch bulk rocket tube and a cork nose cone, sand to desired shape add a styrene nozzle made from 3/16" rod add a 1/8" thick slice of 1/4" styrene rod for the gauge and another slice of same size for on/off handle at top of nozzle, drill a small hole into the 3/16" nozzle behind the gauge you made then get some small clear speaker wire with the silver core that fits in the hole you just made. paint it first then glue the wire into the hole you drilled print off a tiny gauge apply a very small drop of ca to the styrene gauge apply your printed gauge face and then ur done make a simple styrene bottle mount and thats it.

i wish i had a pic of it to show you but they come out very near scale size for a 200 shot nos tank i made dual tanks for a tc3 on road car that i scaled out for a car show and every body absolutely loved em. i got sick of explaining it so i did a fast write up and made a bunch of copies for the people that wanted it.

happy building i think total cost was about 15 bucks with a bunch of left over materials

I can make them, But I am kinda curious as to how many people would want them for it to be worth my time.
Now the other option you could do is Purchase the scale dash kit from RPPHobby and alter the small extinguisher from its handles

well I am making them now. Only a few and I got one of those lighter ones off ebay. They are a bit too big! The Nitrous bottles are on the bottom of the page and I have 1 left out of the bid pool. I will make 3 more within a week or two.

Well, the MiP Boost bottles are an excellentt idea, but mind you they only come as the bottle and you will have to make guages and other parts for them to make them authentic looking. Now they are $28.00 at the cheapest with shipping. and the Tech racing ones are great too. but I dont believe that company is even in existence anymore.

The ones I offer is an alternative at a more affordable price and comes with a more scale look to them as built. Yes I will only offer these at a very limited amount, but thats because there really isnt a large need for them in rock crawling applications. I have 2 that are pre sold and one available still, I will be making 3 more of these eventually if there is a need.

is it just me or did the posts all dissapear?

EDIT: i noticed that it was in a link. why don't you make the nitrous bottles in blue? if you did, it would look so much more realistic. and blue is Awesome an dthe proper color for nitrous tanks.

And if I made them in blue then it wouldnt be a Nitrous Xpress bottle now would it. Look. If you dont like what I got to offer, then dont buy it. Some people asked for one and I made them.

See I cant do the NOS tanks because I dont want to subject myself to a lawsuit. They are well known for copyright infringement lawsuits.
