All you had to do was unplug those two lights.

I was considering getting this but I want to know if there's a way to have the "turn signal" lights stay on and not flash. I don't know about you guys, but I've never seen turn signals used offroad........

Also, after watching videos of the light kit in action, it appears the tail lights only operate as brake lights, ie, they turn off when the rig is in motion. Can anyone confirm if they can be set to stay on?

You are correct about the taillights I ended up hard wiring two radio shack LEDs directly to the battery so they stay on all the time. Than use the brake lights, turn signals, headlights, and reverse lights from the kit.

What's a good lighting system then? One that has full-time headlights, tail lights and amber parking lights, but also operational brake and reverse lights.

Punk RC has a new one in development that looks promising. It should be fully customizable.

I just found out the RC4WD SLS is not compatible with my Spektrum DX3R. I dont know if it is not compatible with all 2.4ghz systems but I know it didnt work with mine. Does anyone know of a good lighting system that does with with 2.4ghz and one I can purchase in the US?

This lighting system is very in depth. You can program it from your pc. For example: if you are working on a jet and you have your LEDs setup for your afterburner effects but only coming on at 80% of throttle. Very cool

It works great with my 4PK are you sure you set it up right. It doesnt make sense why it wouldnt work with the DX3R.

Doesn't make sense to me either. Its just two plugs. I figured the rx receptical from a Spektrum SR3100 would be like any other rx. You have two plugs that connect to the rx like a servo or esc would and you have 2 females that connect your esc and servo.

Both my esc and servo worked fine with the SLS in place so I know I was getting both power and signal between the SLS system. I just wasn't getting signal lights to work or the brake lights to turn off unless I was almost at full throttle. My endpoints were correct as well as expo settings. Also the the signal loss setting where all the lights flash didnt work either maybe due to the internal failsafe built into the radio. They would flash for a half second and shut off when I would simulate radio signal loss.

I sent it back to the hobby shop and they were the ones who tested it out and said, we couldn't get this to work on the 2.4ghz system they had in stock so they were still checking to see if it was all 2.4 or just some 2.4 systems.

Does anyone have a pic of this? I am new to plugin in accessories. The 4 leads that plug into are not labeled. Which one plugs into the servo. Do I need additional splitters? Thought it'd come with instructions of some kind.
Thank you for the help
I have the futaba rcvr and 4ch txmtr.
