I havent seen any scale ones though. I suppose you could make some;-) |
thats right. rain caps are most often found on tractors but arent uncommon on semis and now diesel trucks. they look like this http://www.dicomiller.com/pictures/adam/P7120093.JPG. |
ohhh ok cool thanx for the clarification, sounds like a good idea, and you shood just make then, doesnt seem to hard |
ya i had to make some for the dump truck i used to have, good luck man |
how did you make them? any pics of them? |
they are called rainbirds and they are annoying as hell lol, try cuttin some outta styrene and glue em on |
you might try www.gardentrucking.com they have alot of rc semi truck info. |
I see them on EVERY truck where I am...due to being in Canada we also have snow to deal with 4 months of the year..so they also help keeping snow out...they're standard here..LOL |
I knew guy that put some on his VW exhaust. LOL the funniest shit ever and rattling and clanking whenever he got on the gas. I'd say for an rc you'd have to fabricate from styrene. Make a little pin and some loops for it to hinge against. |
you could make these for far less time in waiting and less money that the shipping. just cut some tin with tabs to bend over to create the attaching bracket. you could even give the caps a dome like appearance by pounding it over a mold, ball bearing perhaps. spray paint, and viola. rain caps in just a few easy steps. |
