| Guns, guns, guns... Just thought I would post this here too, being that I did some research to find the right size guns to go with my Axial SCX10 Honcho kit. I personally collect GI Joe action figures, but being that they are 3.75” their guns were too small to match the 1:10 scale of the Honcho. Of course the flip side is that the 12” Joe guns were just too big. I tracked down a couple of Metal Gear Solid action figures that came with guns that were a perfect fit scale wise. I really like some of the McFarlane military figures, but they are more like a statue than an action figure, and their guns are molded as a part of the figure. All of the guns on my truck are from the MGS figures, with the exception of one, which was from the Hobby Gear accessories kit. It had a hunting rifle look, but I painted it black to give it a tactical look instead. Just thought I would share in case anyone is looking to add an arsenal to their scale crawler! Thanks! With all that hardware facing the cab, make sure they aren't locked and loaded when you hit the trails... Or the first bump you hit will definitely ruin your day. |

Wow, you guys are harsh. Sorry, for my first scale crawler I didn't make sure they were safely mounted, not facing the cab, and not bungied to the exposed roll cage. Wow. So, since I haven't seen gun racks made or anything on here, and based on your comments, I guess you have done it much better. So, let's see the pics. But dezfan, you must be an operator yourself and with your experience level you just mount them differently, on your 1:1 assault rig I mean, right? I was just trying to post and be helpful on where you can get some scale guns if you were looking for them.

I just use duct tape and tape my arsenal to my assault vehicle. I of course make sure they are fully loaded and all safeties are off. I would take pics, but the black helicopters are flying over my bunker again. Nobody move............... |

How many 1:1's have Beadlocks with Hex head screws? How many 1:1's have non opening doors? Of those without opening doors, how many with little black stickers? How many 1:1's have plastic posts sticking through the bonnet? You could go on forever....... Give the guy a break. We're all trying to our own abilities and personal preferences. |

You're just not gonna hit the trails with a FAMAS mounted on your roll cage. Firearms go inside the cab. Make a little rack and mount them in the back window... | |

Thanks for the compliments to those that gave them. But, haters are going to hate, and it by no means bothers me if you don't like what I have done. Surprised me, yes, especially with as helpful as this forum has been for me. All it does is motivate me for my next body to do it better. I like it, and that is all that matters. As I mentioned, I just started this thread as a resource if anyone was looking for some scale guns.
