i just got a snorkel from RC4WD for the Land Rover. What is the best way to mount it. It has no holes in in. It just has a raised portion on the back. I have cut out a hole in my body for this to sit in. I was thinking about Shoe Goo. It's just not really thick enough for a screw to get a good bite. |

I have attached all of mine with a very little bit of shoe goo. Don't use to much, it will push out. A very thin coat is all you need. -Mike |

A little servo tape or a few small screws will work fine

| That is made for the Hard Body. It replaces one of the Chrome inserts and just a little Shoe Goo works great. Some also make a little mini collar with thin styrene to attach it to the window post with some small 1MM bolts and nuts.

Shoe Goo I used a thin layer on almost the entire surface area of Vernes Hi Lux snorkel on my Yota, and it held up to some serious abuse all season. Solid right up until the last GTG of the season when it got wedged on a rock and I tried to power through....granted we were at the seacoast and it was about 40 degrees Last edited by CreepyCrawl; 01-01-2011 at 08:26 PM. |
