I got some from the local shop like Jen said. They did a full 4'x8' sheet of .060''. It was only $28 with it cut into 4 sheets of 2'x4'. They sell all over, and maybe you could contact them to have them ship, or see if they have suggestions/affiliates in your area.

It appears to be more expensive online then local...but still at $35/sheet, it's still A LOT cheaper then a LHS.

They do sell the .020'' in a 2'x4' sheet for only $3.50 so that's cheap.

I recently came across a crystal nail filer. It says it never wears down because it's made of crystal. My current emery board is already pretty hammered after making only 2 things out of styrene. Anyone ever heard of this or tried one? I just spent $10 on it so hopefully it holds up to that promise!

I'll keep the thread posted on how it does. And if nothing else at least it's pretty!

I use that ProWeld glue. You just put it on and wait for a few seconds for the plastic to 'soften' then hold it together for a bit. It works really fast!

Generally you cut the pieces with a knife, glue them together then sand them smooth.

what about the detailed pieces? like the floor pan of the beds? Is that multiple pieces? Is there carvin involved? Or i ts all glued pieces and gives the allusion that its one piece cause some of these look awesome like a mold

No carving. It's all about layers. Use a sheet for the base then use thin strips on top of that to simulate the ribs.
