***Update***

EXI-00 goes to Eritex Inc.

EXI-01 goes to DTP

EXI-02 goes to tootall

EXI-03 goes to Harley

EXI-04 goes to Jason

EXI-05 goes to Crawlski

EXI-06 goes to chino63

EXI-07 goes to Stelerzman

Also, I do not want this to turn into a sales thread much more then it needs to be. I will be uploading pictures of the motor tonight so you can see the throttle body and header flanges

Here are a couple shots of the motor under a D90 body I believe. It does not look nearly as huge in this truck...

And the throttle body...

Are you still planning to leave the fan inside the throttle body?

Is there, or will there be, holes for motor mounts?

Butterflies? Yes. You can see the bosses on top of the throttle body for them

The cooling fan is inside the intake directly over the electric motor.

The helical bore you speak of is just bad machining, it is actually chatter.

This is by far the best scale accessory of all time. Functional and not cartoonishly big or out of proportion. I can't wait to get mine!

One question, are the non XR10 gears available or are they custom machined items?

As usual, I plan on running many scale miles with it.

Custom machined but 32P so they are pretty tough

Not much as far as an update, it has been brutal hot and since I do not get A/C installed in the shop until later today I headed into Springfield yesterday to pick up some tooling, material, and check out the Toys R Us. When I was there my son pointed one of those motors from the new "Cars 2" movie out to me as he had arms full of Pokemon stuff

I figured I would buy it and post a picture to compare to the size of my motor. It is a cool little thing with some potential but it is tiny and kind of cartoonish looking. A little work and I think it would be great for a 1:16 scaler
