| ideas for scale net for rc window
HI, im jsut about finishing up my tube chassis scx10 and was wondering if I can get some ideas on a scale net for my window. Im thinking about those offroad rigs with nets and not the bungee types. Let me in on some info I want to make one for each window.

I used to make them, but only sold about 20 sets. rope style, use black or yellow nylon field rope found.d at your local ace hardware. ribbon style, use ribbon found at your local wamart. both are about .99 - 1.99 a roll. Cut them longer than your window openings. and cut a border piece. Use super glue gel in an area with very low humidity to avoid whiting. and start gluing your first edge. Once glue has dried, start weaving your design. if you do it right and take your time, it will come out great, if not, it will be crap. |

I searched for this a while ago and found Mad4Rnr made one for his Campbell buggy. Here's the one I made. I used 1/8" nylon ribbon and some permanant fabric glue. Only thing I haven't done it figure out a way to mount that I like. Hope this helps |

Funny, I saw the title and was going to post "Talk to Norm, He used to make some real nice ones" and low and behold, he was the first to respond.
