| diamond plate tool/batt box........
made a styrene tool box to house my battery then skinned it in double diamond plate.... more pic's when i get it mounted in truck ..........bob .... |

Nice work. I made mine in a similar way, but as a solid box. Now I've decided I want it to be aable to open, so I've had to hack the top off it. Just gotta make some hinges now........ I should have just done it your way. |

i got it from tower hobbies, but the only problem is it is real thin stuff .015" i think....couldn't for the life of me find it in .060" that the plain styrene is i made the box with, anyone know where i can find .060" thick 1/16 scale diamond plate ???........bob .... |
