Default Styrene Supply Web-Site - Search No Further

Looking for a place to order styrene??? I don't know how I've missed this site for so long.

1) Go here Plastruct, Inc. - Volume 8 Catalog to download a catalog of all of Plastruct's styrene & abs shapes. It's large, 156 pages of different types of plastics. I'm sure you'll find something you can't live without.

You can even get the solvent needed to "weld" the styrene together with. Good hunting!!!

2) Look in the catalog and write down the Product Code for each type of styrene you need.

3) Then go here Plastruct, Inc. - Online Catalog to search their site for that product and to purchase it.

4) Send me a dollar for this tip so I'll be happy as you.:nice:

I'm pretty sure everyone knows about them that works with styrene and they are a bit overpriced.... But they do have some great pieces that others don't make.

I tried my LHS and a single pack was almost twice the price of Plastruct for 1/3 less pieces. Kinda pricy in my neighborhood.

Evergreen also makes a wide selection of styrene shapes and flat panels. Thanks for the link, I'm sure it can be a help to someone who wants to try styrene and just didn't know where to get it.

I find that Evergreen is good product and available at my LHS. I contacted them directly for some large sheet and they have been quite helpful.

Our local train shop carries both brands and has tons of varitiy. If you have one in you town they are worth checking out.

Oh yeah, I've got two local LHS; one of which is heavy into trains and their styrene is about twice what I paid online. The other LHS is primarily airplanes/copters....nothing at all in the way of styrene.

I have gotten good large thick sheets of styrene from inside walls of old refrigerators and microwaves in the past.

For Sale and Yard Sale signs at hardware stores are a good cheap thin sheet styrene.
