Scale Bed Rails i want to get as close to a scale rig i can as i enjoy yhe looks of them. so i was looking around and decided to make some bedrails for my power wagon. its a cheap and easy mod and im sure some of you have the parts needed. all i did was use the step bar off of a 1/18 nylint and trimmed it up,drilled two holes and mounted it to the side of my body. i may paint the flat area black. im not sure yet. lmk what ya think.. side shot... http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...rackbar001.jpg back view... http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...rackbar003.jpg and an angle shot... http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...rackbar004.jpg |
Good idea, but i think it might look a little better if you cut off the flat part and put the screws in from the backside. |

Maybe you could paint the flat part black to kinda cover it up. |
