I love your trailer. I plan to build one similar soon. What did you use for the hitch? Looks like a plastic ball end link?

Do you have any problems with it popping off? I'm looking to build a trailer for my winter project.

No problems at all. In fact I have to twist the trailer to disconnect. Sent on a crappy sprint network |

are there additional ramps for loading ? suppose a crawler with big tires can get up/on but I'm not seeing how the cars do ? video of the cars loading would be swell to see. kool trailer... how much does it weigh ? I really don't get the design... seems like the axles are too far rearward... making the tongue weight heavier ? I'd probably wish to back a 1:1 on that trailer design so the heavier nose of the vehicle was placed over the axles. Did you need beef up the hauler's R. springs - oil wt in compensation ? or something else ? Last edited by TacoCrawler; 08-28-2015 at 11:14 PM. |

No ramps, when I built it I only had the lifted trucks and they drove right on. I have no videos but I would have to make ramps to load them and all my cars set so low that they drag at the beaver tail anyway. It ways somewhere around 5lbs if I remember right. The axle location is exactly proportioned to the 1:1 trailer and there is a decent amount of tongue weight. I use all three size leafs for the TF2 in the back of both tow rigs and it holds perfect. |

There are no spindles. I drilled out the hubs to accept plastic bushings that fit over top of the threaded rod then just put a lock nut on them. Nothing fancy just good enough for a using around the driveway and sitting on a shelf Sent on a crappy sprint network |

I cut up strips of 1 to 1 tape but you can buy it for the 14 scale semis Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk |

| Re: Just another trailer build Cool. Thanks.mi figured that's what you did. The 14scale only seems to come in white and red. I'm still looking though. Will probably use your idea as it looks correct and good. |
