Exclamation DTP's Tilt Deck Trailer

I knew it was just a matter of time before I got a crawler hauler. With all these sweet builds, how could I resist? I wanted to do a tilt deck, although it may have been done, I haven't seen one yet. So, I go to the comp this weekend & what do I see? This.

Made a deal & now the trailer is mine.

Here's some pics with my Highlift & S-dub.

It's perfectly balanced, with the deck flat, tilted, or loaded.

I plan to add some scale expanded sheetmetal to the deck. I'm also thinking of adding fenders or moving the tires under the rails.

That'd make a sweet jump!

Looks good. Some touring car wheels/tires might look better on it.

Dukes of Hazzard?

I was thinking that or highlift. I already PMed JRH about his HL wheels, sold. Frickin' Chaun-c.

Got a vid, it's uploading now.

Now you just need some tie-downs.

The trucks in the first pic belong to 05tacoma. I just swiped his trailer when he wasn't looking.

Ryde, can I come over to make some mods?

that trailer looks awesome
i think u should just put fenders on it and it would look sick
arent you running 2.2s on your hi lift you could use the wheels/tires off of that

This trailer is awesome DTP, I am really loving it, but I agree it needs more realistic wheel. I have my stock high lift wheels new in the package still if you want to work out a deal

that is an awesome trailer. i should have done a simple tilt deck like that too, instead i did it the hard way and have mine where it electronically lifts and lowers when i back off or pull on.

Here's the latest. Added the expanded sheet, moved the tires under the rails. Don't mind the rims, I'll get something else, those are all I had.
Hope you like the cargo.
