| Death Metal - Garage I've been wanting to do a garage/photo booth now for some time ! seen everyones doing one now & there some GREAT ones out there ! but - if anyone knows me, you know i won't do one like everyones normal garage wanted to do one to stay with the Death Metal Garage theme for mine ! twisted & dark the Death Metal style. this will be a look into garage - 3 sides with roof - fully light - shop lights & all. going to try to make most everything my self - staying away from the store bought scale stuff - hopefully ! ill give everyone just a sneak peek for now & then the how it came together. took a long time & work to get to this point - with still long way to go ! this will be a 3 bay garage - size 3 1/2' x 6' a lot more to come !! thx 4 looking. |

Has a Bat-Cave-esc feel to it. Now you need a Batman themed paint job on your crawler I like it ! |

| Re: Death Metal - Garage heres how everything started ! just a simple wooden base & fur strip bracing. want to make this EZ to tear down & set back as possible - just in case ! base 3 1/2' x 6' walls are make from Foam slabs - around 4" thick first shaped them down to the form i wanted then took the dremal tool & started carving ! once i was happy with the look - time for the Foam Coat. this a coating designed for applying to foam to make a hard covering & paintable once all the foam coats on & dry - time for a heavy base coat of gray primer. then various shades of grays sponged painted on. once the sponge painting was finished - then airbrushed detail was applied. starting to come together now more to come !! THX 4 Looking !! Last edited by the DMG; 06-05-2014 at 09:44 PM. |

Those stone walls turned out really well, good job on that. Like the look of this garage, very different from most.

I like how it turns out and it defines DMG perfectly. It's definitely one of kind and it stands out than the most "cookie-cutter-type-garages" you see on RCC.

The walls, well heck the whole thing turned out insanely nice. I really like the dog, guitar and the Gremlin on the wall. |
