|  Scale pontoon setup..water crossings
Picked these up.. from Helimax..for .30-.40 size heli's. $20  PERFECT fit for scalers!     fold up and stick them in ya backpack and roll on!! Gonna try them like this 1st. Then flip the alum bracket over to see if any better or worse. Still have to make a brace to keep the arms parallel and for water drive mount. Test video's to come. Test pics.. Tundra weighs @8.6lbs..   You can see from pics with the weight of rig it has sunk down to where the tires are @halfway in the water. Im thinking a Nqd jet drive setup mounted underneath middle section for propulsion ..  |

rotating tires would work for enough propulsion me thinks... modify the frame to where the tars won't touch maybe brah? |

I think the general idea is kinda cool... but it looks to be impractical as far as scale use. I mean... ya can't really dismount off that float without the hand of G** I would suggest a platform be mounted atop those floats... so when the rig floats to the opposing side of the ford... It could simply drive off, onto dry land.  add an air fan to drive the float  |
