Default Ram 2500 Mirrors (Power Wagon)

So after posting in paint and body, a member asked if I would share the "how to" for building my trucks mirrors. Here we go!

First, supplies.
Sheet of foam or styrene/plastic. I am using foam.
Scissors, preferably body scissors.
Shoe Goo, the all important staple.
A dremel or sander, hand shaving would be possible, but lengthy.
And a little bit of hardware, couple self tapping screws.

Depending on how far you want the mirrors to stick out, cut a piece similar to the top piece, the right middle piece will be mated with the top via shoe goo to make the Arm, so it should be similar in height and around half the length. The left middle piece will be the back of the mirror Face, it should fill in the remaining length of the top piece and be slightly taller than both the top and right middle pieces. The bottom piece will be mated with the middle left, it is the bigger portion and the Face of your mirror, it should be slightly bigger than the middle left in both length and height.

The mating of the top piece and the right middle piece.

Test fit your left middle piece after the mating is complete and trim accordingly. You want a slight amount of clearance to allow rotation. Also test fit and trim the bottom piece for desired Face height and length.

Next, mate the left middle and the bottom piece. They should share 2 sides and one corner, hope that makes sense. Note, after trimming the bottom piece, it should be just slightly taller than the middle left piece.

Then, grab your dremel or sander and round the corners and edges, on both the top and right middle section, or the Arm. And the middle left and bottom section, the Face.

Next use a small screw set inward a little from the outside to mate the Face to the Arm.

With some patience, trial and error, you should end up with some Cornholio Ram mirrors!

If you have any questions, PM or reply to this thread, I will do my best to explain the rough spots.

Also, these mirrors don't have to be perfect. If they look good 2ft away, You're golden. Unless you plan on taking lots of close ups before ripping them off on the rocks!
