I made a set of these for myself and thought a few other people might want them too.

They'll be available in plain and vented.

SLW and compatible hubs fit right inside, with only .030" of material between the hub and wheel, so it won't screw up your track width. .100" spacers will be included if you want some distance between the wheel and disk. Weight is very minimal so there won't be any worries about someone calling them knuckle weights.

The first few runs will be 1.3" in diameter, which fit nicely in a 1.9" wheel. 2.2 and possibly 1.5 wheel versions will be coming soon after.

Hit the vents with a sharpy for some added realism.

Nope. I haven't yet been able to produce them efficiently enough to price them competitively without sacrificing detail. It's on my to-do list, but it's not a priority just yet...

How about making them out of grey delrin?

Let the consumer paint them...

I was wondering whatever happened to these...

Grey delrin is crazy expensive, and you can't paint delrin, it comes right off.

Yup, Delrin (Brand Name for an Acetal) is oil based. I tried some Micro-Prep delrin paint adhesion promoter spray and it kinda worked but the paint came off pretty quick with use.

It is also very non-porous. There is very little for paint or glue to grab on to.

Dude, could brass be an option? Another way to add weight and scale looks would be a win-win.
